October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, and we had a patron request that we put up a display for it. Even though I’m obsessed with Halloween, and normally would have all my October displays be spooky stories, costumes, etc., I loved this idea. I chose to dedicate my large slat wall to the display for the entire month of October. Here is what I did:
It is officially October, which means it’s Halloween season! I wanted to kick off the month with a storytime that felt a little bit Halloweenish but was really mostly fall, so I chose owls. Owls are a little spooky, but they are also mostly so stinking cute.
