With May finally rolling in and bringing an end to April’s showers…of snow, it seemed like a good time to read weather related stories. We focused more on weather that we would typically see in spring (absolutely no snow stories!).
We started with Kate, Who Tamed the Wind by Liz Garton Scanlon and Lee White. This is a lovely story about a young girl who brilliantly thinks of planting trees to break up the wind at the top of a hill. It is written in really lovely prose, and the children were captivated!
